Once upon a time, when the Fortress did not even exist, this place, nature, people and their lives, were ruled by mythological heroines, powerful and magical women in whose nature good and evil are united. In addition to the story of heroines, there are also dragons that are believed to exist in the Serbian people, only they are quite different from other world dragons.
Stories about the Heroines of the Golubac Fortress and stories about dragons performed by our guides are available to our visitors every sunday in June, July and August at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on the cannon tower (tower 9).
Military tactics, the science and skill of organizing the army, is a set of techniques for using military units to fight, and defeat the enemy in battle.
The cannon is an artillery weapon with a large barrel length, high projectile speed, high precision, which usually hits the target with a direct path.
Stories of military tactics and cannon weapons performed by our guides are available to our visitors every sunday in June, July and August at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the cannon tower (tower 9).
“Wine Day” is held every September in Golubac Fortress, where our visitors can taste different types of local wines and enjoy a tour of the fortress.
