Miroslav`s Gospel “Divine Inspiration”
Miroslav’s Evangelist, the oldest preserved Serbian Cyrillic manuscript, was written and painted by Serbian monks in the last quarter of the 12th century.
Due to the unique symbolism of artistic decorations, which are directly related to the text and the liturgical service, playful characters full of life, in the making of which Eastern and Western influences are intertwined – UNESCO has included it in the Memory of the World, among the most valuable movable property in history.n accordance with the concept of the exhibition, 16 exhibition panels were set up on all floors of Tower 5 (5 levels), which provided an interpretation of the period of rule of Hungarians, Serbs and Ottomans in the Golubac Fortress (period XV-XVII century).
